Initially, the strap I wanted was not in the size I needed. When I reached out to inquire about an estimated time it would be back, I heard from Nynke that they did not have plans to continue making it with my requested size. While I was disappointed, I understood - and I was still blown away by her quick and personal response.
So imagine my surprise when, last week, I got a notification that the particular strap was available in my requested size! I quickly logged on and ordered. I ordered late in the evening, and the item was shipped next day. I just received it today, which was a mere 4 days - and an entire ocean trek - after I ordered!
The company’s responsiveness, as well as customer support and attention to detail, has been incredible. Since my first interaction with them, I was amazed to hear from an actual person, and in such an open way. And that continued with the quick shipping and beautiful packaging.
To top it off, the watch strap is stunning and such a high quality piece. I didn’t share in my initial email, but the strap is for a family heirloom watch. My grandfather (who died when I was 16) was given a mechanical chronograph watch as a milestone present from his employer. I received the watch about 10 years ago and proceeded to wear it, but the strap broke about a year and a half ago. Not only does this new Bulang strap allow me to continue wearing this piece, but it also allows me to add a personal touch to an already personal and important piece. Thank you to everyone at bulang and sons for all they do to allow people like me to better connect with meaningful family history (and to do it with such beautiful products!). This is so special, and I’m incredibly grateful!
